Spring is coming! I recently posted a picture of my absolutely bare weeping crab tree on my Facebook page (beverlylong.romance) and can hardly wait to post another picture when it’s in full bloom in a few weeks.

I did get a chance to sneak away to Sanibel Island in Florida during the first week of March. First time I’d been on the island and first time back on a bicycle in many years. Had a blast. I spent copious amounts of time with a glass of frosty goodness in one hand and a romance novel in the other, hunkered down on the beach, determined to soak up every ray of sunshine I could before returning to the snowy Midwest.

Speaking of beaches….in May, I’ll be participating in author Brenda Novak’s online auction to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes. I am thrilled to be able to donate a very cool bag (Dooney & Bourke), a beach towel, and some autographed books so that one of you can look totally hot at the beach. Here’s the link to check it out. I just finished the last of the edits on my upcoming series—Hunted (July 15); Stalked (August 15); and Trapped (September 15). No covers to share yet but expect to see those any day. Will make sure to post them when they arrive.
