The Performing Arts Classroom series provides students a unique glimpse into world music and dance. These 50-60 minute weekday matinees feature world-renowned performing artists from around the globe. Performing Arts Classrooms take place in the Ordway’s Music Theater.
Broadway Songbook Series90 minute performance |$5 Tickets | Recommended for Grades 6-12
The Broadway Songbook Series gives your students a window into the world of
musical theater through the works of some of the most famous songwriters of all time! Each 90-minute performance will be a mix of the composers’ life stories, background on their artistic process and cultural impact and a sampling of their work through live vocal performances. Broadway Songbook performances take place in the Ordway’s Music Theater with the audience sitting on the stage!
Flint Hills International Children’s Festival
50-60 minute performance & workshop | $3.50 Tickets | Recommended for Grades PK-8
The Festival School Days, May 27-30, provide the opportunity for more than 15,000 students to see artists from around the world perform exquisite music, heartfelt dramas and heart-pounding movement inside the Ordway! Students can interact with artists while they eat lunch in the park, tour the student art exhibition or attend workshops all in one day!
